President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has signed four new bills into law, the Presidential Press Unit (PPU) announced today. The President assented to the bills on Friday, June 14.
The newly enacted laws are:
- The Free Zones (Amendment) Act, 2024
- The Uganda Wildlife (Amendment) Act, 2024
- The National Library (Amendment) Act, 2024
- The Uganda National Meteorological Authority (Amendment) Act, 2024
These bills were recently passed by the Parliament of Uganda and awaited President Museveni’s formal approval.
