Former Aruu County MP, Odonga Otto has joined more than 120 Members of Parliament, political leaders, religious and cultural leaders, business executives and supporters at the official launch of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) website and digital platform at the organisation’s headquarters in Naguru, Kampala.

The event brought together senior political figures, including Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa, former Vice President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya, PLU National Vice Chairman Toyota, Captain Mike Mukula and NRM Vice Chairman for Northern Uganda Hamson Obua.

PLU General Secretary Hon. Twalla Fadil said the launch marked an important step in strengthening the organisation’s structure, communication and national reach.

He thanked the more than 120 MPs who attended, alongside members of the PLU Central Committee, NRM Central Executive Committee, religious and cultural leaders, business executives and PLU supporters from across the country.

Fadil said the new digital platform, plu.org.ug, will provide an official online presence for PLU and facilitate communication, membership registration and verification.

He also commended the organising committee led by Hon. Ojara Mapenduzi, the media and protocol teams, website developers and PLU Secretariat staff for their contribution to the successful launch.

The General Secretary urged PLU members and supporters to use only the organisation’s official communication channels and remain disciplined as the group continues building what he described as a structured civic force for patriotism, service and national transformation.
