President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has Thursday arrived in Congo Brazzaville where he us expected to hold talks with the country’s leader, Denis Sassou Nguesso.
In a tweet, Museveni says, he is in the Central African country on the invitation of President Nguesso.
“I arrived in Oyo town, Congo Brazzaville earlier today, for a working visit at the invitation of President Denis Sassou Nguesso,” writes Museveni on Twitter.
Oyo town is located in the Cuvette Region, inside Congo, more than 400 km from Brazzaville.
Although details of the meeting are unknown, the two leaders are expected to engage in discussions pertaining strengthening relations between Uganda and Congo Brazzaville.
The duo is also seeking to engage on all matters of mutual interest and depend cooperation in all areas.
