A motor accident in Jinja has reportedly claimed life of a diplomat attached to the Swedish Embassy in Uganda.
The accident is said to have occurred on Sunday afternoon at Magamaga way bridge along Jinja Iganga road.
Reports say that a couple of people involved in the accident have been rushed to Jinja hospital for further management.
Police was yet to comment on this accident by the time of publication of this story.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the alert has been forwarded to the Protocol Department for immediate action.
