On Friday, laying of top notch playing turf of Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium started, creating anxiety and excitement among sports lovers in the country.
Last week, officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation of Uganda Football Association(FUFA) inspected and witnessed the stadium’s redevelopment progress.
The nearly 40,000 seater modern sports complex being developed by businessman, Hamis Kiggundu, comprises advanced fire and security systems, impeccable exits and entrances, high-quality seating arrangements, among other international facilities.
