Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary nominee, Alfred Mutua, on Tuesday held talks with Uganda High Commissioner to Kenya, Amb. Dr Hassan Galiwango.

According to Mutua, they had a social cup of tea, and ‘everything is Okay’.

“This morning I shared a social cup of tea with Amb. Dr Hassan Galiwango – Uganda High Commissioner to Kenya. We discussed interesting matters. Mambo iko Sawa,” Mutua said in a tweet.

The meeting between the high commissioner and incoming CS comes after a social media outburst from Ugandan Military Commander General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who challenged government transition in Kenya.

“My only problem with my beloved big brother (Uhuru Kenyatta) is that he didn’t stand for a third term. We would have won easily!” Muhoozi said on Monday evening.

In a series of tweets, Muhoozi, who is the son of Uganda President Yoweri Musevewni also talked on Uganda ‘plan to capture Nairobi’.

“It wouldn’t take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi,” he said. “After our army captures Nairobi, where should I live? Westlands? Riverside?” Muhoozi further posed.

The General would later say that the colonial borders in Uganda and Kenya should fall.

“Had a good discussion with my great father this morning. Apparently, my tweets scared Kenyans too much? He will announce the changes. There is a special prayer I shall make for our army,” Muhoozi has stated in the latest tweet.
