The Head of Political Mobilisation in the office of the President, Eng Joseph Ssewava, has appealed to members of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) to put aside their differences and jointly focus on implementing their party’s manifesto.

Ssewava who was speaking at a ceremony of awarding trophies to winners of Kaguta-Hanifa-Kawooya cup in Mawogola, said only unity will lead to effective execution of Manifesto implementation and deliver services to the people.

“The spirit of unity in Manifesto implementation is what we need. I call upon all leaders in Sembabule to work together as a team. We no longer have campaigns now, our emphasis should be put on manifesto implementation and service delivery to our people,” Ssewava said.

“All politicial differences should stop in Sembabule District so that people can have services as far as our Manifesto is concerned,” he added.

He further thanked Hon Hanifa Kawooya for being closer to her electorate, striving to better their lives as well as working hard to see that the party finds a firm ground at the grassroots.

Ssewava has been very pivotal in seeking better services and livelihoods for the people of Sembabule. Recently, he hosted the Member of Parliament for Mawogola North, Shartsi Musharure who contributed building materials towards construction of the house of the priest of Serinya Parish in Bukomansimbi District.
