A tragic incident has been confirmed at a school in Ggaba, Kampala, where four children were killed in a violent attack.
According to Racheal Kawala, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, security have taken a suspect into custody following the incident.
“We confirm a tragic incident at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school, in Makindye Division Kampala City where a male suspect brutally stabbed and killed four juveniles.
The suspect has been apprehended, and the motive behind the killings is still under investigation. Further details will be provided in due course.”
The attack reportedly occurred at a daycare and nursery facility in Ggaba on Thursday mid morning. Police have since secured the scene and launched investigations to establish the circumstances and motive behind the killings.
