The territorial police in Pallisa district have this Friday started investigations in a case of aggravated defilement.
According to Wilfred Kyempasa the Bukedi North region police spokesperson, case number CRB 549/2025 has been reported by Namatovu Afuwa, a famale adult aged 34 years and a Muyoro by tribe whi is a peasant and a resident of Rweta C cell Kagwese ward in Pallisa town council.
He says the victim is a female juvenile of only 10 years, resident of the same village. It’s alleged that on the 22/10/2025 at around 1830/c the complaint, Namatovu Afuwa, sent the victim to the shops at Pallisa industrial Area to buy her barking flour.
Kyempasa adds that after a delay, the victim came back and reported to that she had been raped by a man only known to her by appearance.
The complaint checked the victim a found out that she was bleeding from her private paerts. The victim led the complainant to the scene crime which was within Rweta C cell Kagwese ward in Pallisa town council.
On 23/10/2025 at around 1100/ the matter was reported at Pallisa police station vide SD ref 25/21/10/2025.
Statements have been recorded from the complainant and the victim and a PF3A form issued to the victim for medical examination. The crime scene has been visited by the scene of crime officer and detectives. It was also examined and a sketch plan drawn.
Police says that it was established that the victim was sexually abused and the hymen was raptured and fresh bruises medically observed. No arrest has so far been made and inquiries still ongoing.
