President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday held discussions with a delegation from the Boeing Company at State House-Entebbe.

The delegation, led by Mr. Kuljit Ghata-Aura, President of Boeing-Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central Asia, showcased Boeing’s global expertise in aerospace, including commercial airplanes, defense products, and space systems spanning over 150 countries.

President Museveni reiterated Uganda’s readiness to collaborate with Boeing to elevate the nation’s aviation sector.

Mr. Ghata highlighted Boeing’s comprehensive aviation system package designed to support Uganda’s infrastructure and aviation development.

The meeting, facilitated by the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID), chaired by Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo, also a Senior Presidential Advisor – Special Duties, saw the participation of other key delegates including Captain Graig Bomben, Vice President – Flight Operations at Boeing, and Mr. Anbessie Yitbarek, Vice President – Boeing Commercial Airplanes Sales and Marketing in Africa.

Representatives from Uganda Airlines, Uganda Air Cargo, and Civil Aviation Authority were also present, underscoring the collaborative efforts to bolster Uganda’s aviation landscape.
