President Yoweri Museveni is spending Easter holidays with family at his country home in Rwakitura, Western Uganda.

On Sunday, he shared two sweet photos on Twitter, featuring himself, wife Janet Museveni, first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and wife together with their daughter dressed in beautiful outfits.

“Mama Janet and I spent our Easter Sunday with Gen. Muhoozi, Charlotte and our grand daughter,” President Museveni wrote on Twitter.

One of the photos shows President Museveni clad in his trademark while shirt holding his granddaughter by the shoulders while Janet Museveni in a traditional ankole suit, Gen Muhoozi in a blue jacket and Charlotte stood on attention as they posed for the photo.

Charlotte wore her hair tied together in the back.

On Saturday, the President wrote a message to the people of Uganda in which he revealed that while he was in Rwakitura for Easter holidays, he kept himself busy by dipping his cattle against ticks.

In the message, he blamed civil servants of undermining the country’s economic growth by being involved in acts of corruption.

He said the civil servants not only undermine projects aimed at transforming lives but also go ahead to collect bribes from the disempowered population.

“It is, therefore, a great shame that those elected by the wealth creators, betray them and become corrupt- stealing government money, taking bribes to provide service etc,” said Museveni in his Easter message to the nation.

“All these wealth creators are suffering because of the parasites in the form of some corrupt civil servants and politicians,” he added.
