At least three people and a vehicle, Isuzu Elf are believed to be trapped under the rubble after part of a stone quarry collapsed in Namulanda Nganjo cell Kajansi Town Council in Wakiso.
The vehicle was loading crushed stones when the incident happened on Saturday evening at around at around 6pm.
Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire says on learning of the incident, the Police fire and rescue services moved to the scene.
By publication of this story police teams were at the scene awaiting an excavator to help in the recovery of trapped victims.
