The governments of Uganda and the Islamic Republic of Iran have forged a close collaboration in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).

Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, Minister of Information and National Guidance, revealed this during a meeting with a distinguished delegation from Iran on Thursday.

The discussions centered on exploring avenues for mutual benefit through the exchange of expertise and resources in the ICT sector.

Dr. Baryomunsi emphasized the potential for Iranian investment in local computer and mobile phone manufacturing, underscoring the importance of such partnerships in driving technological advancement and economic growth.
