After the entertainment industry was set free from all restrictions of the lockdown, Ugandans are attending literally every function enthusiastically in what seems to be a pay back for the lost time.

Yesterday Saturday August 19, Zambia gospel artist Pompi and limoblaze from Nigeria blessed revelers at Legends in a concert dubbed “Alive in the Park”.

It was an amazing experience given the massive turn up, in thousands, coupled with great performances from gospel artists Lyrical Mycheal, Levixone, Coopy Bly, Barna, Dreign and many more.

Limoblaze hit the stage as had most female attendants paid keen attention to his star-fit attires.

Next was Pompi and oh my! He shut it down. Pompi entered with his famous hit Nyimbo and the crowd went ablaze. He performed most of his hit songs and every single one of them was like an anthem to Ugandans.

It was a beautiful experience knowing that you get to worship God and have fun at the same time.

Pompi would later tweet, “Uganda you truly are an African Pearl!!! I was humbled by how you sing along to every single song. Thanks to all who showed up. Moments like this make me realize that our labour in Christ is not in vain”.

And he left, he was given a Luganda name Kirabo” which means gift. Revelers went back home smiling and wishing they could have another live performance by the two amazing artists.

If you missed alive in the park, take a look at the pictures and may be next time, you’ll be at the front row.
