FUFA President Hon. Moses Magogo on Friday joined the Uganda Cranes in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of their opening match at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.
Magogo watched the team train at the Stade Olympique training annex, accompanied by Leader of Delegation and FUFA Executive Committee member Dr. Apollo Ahimbisibwe, and national teams’ manager Patrick Ntege.
His visit is aimed at boosting the morale of the team as they prepare for the continental showpiece.
Uganda is drawn in Group C alongside African powerhouses Nigeria and Tunisia, as well as regional rivals Tanzania.
The Cranes’ first match is scheduled for 23rd December against Tunisia in Rabat.
The team is currently stationed at La Caroussel Hotel in Rabat city, where they continue their preparations under head coach Paul Put.
With a challenging group ahead, Magogo’s presence highlights FUFA’s support for the Cranes as they aim to make an impact at AFCON 2025.
